Here’s simplest way you can move crypto from your wallet and change it back into fiat.

Decentralized wallets are the best place to store your cryptocurrency, but they aren’t capable of every process, specifically converting crypto back into fiat. Whether taking profits or exiting the market in bearish times like we’re in now where prices are expected to fall further, converting your crypto to fiat is a very important process you need to know.

To do this easiest manner, you need to send your cryptocurrency to an exchange. Most use a closely related layout so this can be applied to almost every exchange. Follow the process step by step:

  1. First, select the cryptocurrency of your choice that you want to convert to fiat from your wallet (let’s say Ethereum).

  2. Go to your account or address on the exchange and find the ‘recieve‘ button.

  3. After opening the receive tab, you’ll have scroll through the list of cryptocurrencies until you find Ethereum.

  4. Click Ethereum or ETH, and the wallet address to recieve Ethereum will appear.

  5. Copy the address and head back to your wallet.

  6. Find the ‘Send‘ button in your wallet, select the amount of ETH you wish to send, and paste the address you copied from the recieve tab on the exchange.

  7. Confirm the details and double check the start and end of the wallet address to ensure it is correct, then press send.

  8. Once your Ethereum arrives to your address on the exchange, either sell it directly for fiat, or swap it for a stablecoin and then sell it back for fiat.
