“The Future of Funding,” Vent Finance, is bringing a new product to the web3 space. Vent Finance founder Lucas Mateu sat down with Entrepreneur Magazine to talk about his new company.
Vent Finance looks to transform the incubator market for blockchain projects, whatever sector or type they may be. Like Kickstarter, the company lists startups so that the startups can raise money for the business.
What defines Vent though is that the company doesn’t just take on any project like Kickstarter, it’s like a boutique for startups. Higher powered projects that show true potential are put through a community first vetting process where members vote on projects they find interesting and then Vent Finance audits to find which projects are the most promising.
Since Vent is more selective they launch far fewer projects on their incubator than bigger companies like Kickstarter, often just a fraction, but this is also a huge advantage for the crypto startups on Vent as they have more marketing time and support.
Vent describes itself as a “community crowdfunding ecosystem” that aims to make token rounds more accessible and more successful than any other launch platform. With over 100k users and operating in 12 countries, Vent brings the best user experience and support to any project around. To make it even easier, Vent is launching a mobile app that can be used with Fiat currency so you can invest without even owning crypto first.
